The book contains an absolute minimum of grammatical rules and terms and about 1000 most common words; uses Russian transcription sufficient to illustrate the correspondence between sounds and letters; includes elementary texts, including those of a regional nature. The course is intended for those people who start independent studies in English and are interested in studying the features of its American version.
