The book is a collection of articles and memoirs about the outstanding Soviet scientist, founder of Soviet radiochemistry, Hero of Socialist Labor, three times laureate of the USSR State Prize, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR Academician Vitaly Grigorievich Khlopin, one of the organizers and leaders of the Radium Institute. The memoirs are written by scientists who knew V.G. Khlopin closely, who worked under his leadership.
