The most advanced solutions of earthquake-resistant residential buildings of mass development are considered. An overview of the most economical methods of active seismic protection of buildings and structures used in the USSR and abroad is given. Methods of calculation and design of systems with sliding belts, dynamic vibration dampers, including links, their economic efficiency are described.
