Harry Norman Turtledove (Tartledove) (1949) - American science fiction writer. Ph.D. Harry Turtledove is one of the recognized authorities on historical fiction. He is a nominee and winner of many awards in the field of literature. The so-called "Vides cycle" brought him the greatest fame. For the story "In the Lowlands" in 1994 he received the Hugo Prize.
