"There is a lot of unknown, mysterious and even tragic in the history of the Kremlin hospital," writes doctor Praskovya Moshentseva in her book, who has worked for more than thirty years in the hospital where the highest leaders of the USSR, as well as famous commanders, writers, and artists, were treated. Praskovye Moshentseva, in particular, had to treat Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, Gromyko; her patients were Marshals Zhukov, Rokossovsky, Vasilevsky, composer Shostakovich, singers Lemeshev and Reisen, writers Sholokhov and Tvardovsky, numerous "Kremlin wives and daughters."
