The creator of West German intelligence, Reinhard Gehlen, can rightfully be called the spy of the century. Starting his service in German intelligence on the threshold of World War II, Gehlen chose Soviet Russia as his main opponent, against which he actively acted together with Himmler, Schellenburr and Heydrich.
