This volume includes the most valuable works of the outstanding Russian historian and statesman of the 18th century Vasily Nikitich Tatishchev (1686-1750), the author of the first Russian History. The publication was first carried out on the basis of all currently identified manuscripts of these works. The works of V.N. Tatishchev are extremely important for the study of Russian history, ethnography, philosophy, economics and law.
