This study is devoted to the development of leitmotive analysis of works of cinema. The leitmotif is a concept borrowed from music, it is one of the central categories of art criticism, literary criticism and film studies. The leitmotif is not just a technical means or a bright expressive technique, but the basis of almost any artistic text, giving integrity to many of its elements. The term motif, which can mean both an event or a recurring action and any minute detail of a work, is also often used in the humanities.
