F. M. Dostoevsky, as a novelist, as an artist, is known to the reading public; but even people who are well acquainted with his works of art have the most vague idea of ​ ​ him as a thinker. Meanwhile, F. M. Dostoevsky, who knew how to penetrate the soul of a person in this way, always sensitive to human suffering, not only portrayed them, but also thought about them. And now the results of these thoughts, scattered throughout his "Diary," I found it not superfluous to link them into one whole if possible and present them to the reader.
