Gali Ibragimov (1919-1989) - a prominent Bashkir writer, author of many stories, short stories. His novels "Fellow Soldiers," "Snowdrop" and "Rain on the New Moon" are widely known. The novel "Kinzya" is dedicated to Kinza Arslanov, an associate of E. I. Pugachev and the main leader of the rebellious Bashkirs in the Peasant War of 1773-1775. He worked as an abyz (teacher), knew Russian, in the early 1760s he became foreman of the Bushmas-Kypchak volost of the Nogai road (region) of Bashkiria. He was an opponent of tsarism and "loyal" elders. When the peasant war began, Kinzya Arslanov at the head of the Bashkirs of his volost in early October 1773 came to the Berd camp of Pugachev, received the rank of "chief colonel" and became the "chieftain" of the Bashkirs.
