Tutorial is designed to explore the Free Pascal compiler and the FP IDE. The basics of programming in the Free Pascal language are analyzed in detail: the history of the creation and development of the Pascal language, simple data types, string data, structured data types - arrays. The issues of organization of typical data processing units - procedures and functions, work with files are considered.
