Upon learning that almost 4 million Americans believe - they were abducted by aliens, Bill Bryson decided to return to his homeland, in the United States, where he had not been for almost twenty years. But before leaving Europe, he undertook a farewell tour of the island of Great Britain, from Bath on the south coast to Cape John-o-Groats in the north, and tried to understand how sweet this country was to him and what was so special about the English, Scots, Welsh inhabiting Her Majesty's Island.
