The monograph is dedicated to the first Tunguso-Manchu state of Bohai (698-926), located on the territory of Russian Primorye, Northeast China, in northeast Korea. The work tells about the emergence of Bohai, analyzes the history of its formation, development and death, examines the historical fate of the Bohai. Much attention is paid to ethnic problems and ethnogenesis of the Bohai.
