The book is dedicated to the people who stood at the origins of the Soviet nuclear industry, its publication is timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian geneticist, radiobiologist N.V. Timofeev-Resovsky. It belongs to historical and documentary literature, since the events and people described are the real image of Laboratory B, one of the secret structures in the Urals of the late forties and early fifties, restored from archival sources and recollections of participants and eyewitnesses.
