The volume offered to the reader includes all the conciliar acts of the Moscow Patriarchate from the Council of 1667 until the abolition of the patriarchate in 1700. The book also contains the main theological treatises of the time of the most important dispute for the second half of the 17th century about the time of the transubstantiation of St. Gifts. The book is the first compilation of documents in Russian science, which makes it possible to understand the intellectual and moral life of the patriarchal Church in the first decades after the split, to establish the reasons for its fall into a non-Orthodox synodal form of government.
