Before you is the next issue of the scientific yearbook "Golden Horde Civilization." Many new sources have begun to be actively introduced into scientific circulation, and you can familiarize yourself with some of them in this issue. These are primarily the "Umdet al-akhbar" of Abdulgaffar Kyrym and the "Shuab-i panjgan" of Rashid ad-din, the "Chingiz name" ("Kara tawarikh") of Utemisha Haji (full version) and Latin sources. The issue also includes those articles that we collected for a separate collection on the Battle of Sinevod. However, for various reasons, we abandoned the idea of ​ ​ creating a separate thematic collection. However, such collections are already available. Lithuanian, Belarusian and Ukrainian colleagues are actively working on issues of the history of the Battle of Sinevod. However, the scant reports of late sources allow only in general terms to consider this topic. Unfortunately, this issue is not taken into account and, it seems, some colleagues are following the path of creating works in the genre of "Battle of Kulikovo." As you know, the vast majority of works of this cycle (and there are thousands of them!) And especially those created in the Soviet period have little to do with real history and are based on late literary works.
