The initial setting of this book is connected with the desire to present world history from the point of view of one of its many actors - the peoples of Latin America. The interpretation of history proposed in this book is intended to illuminate this subject in a new way: it proceeds from the recognition of those distinctive features that, in fact, make each people an independent subject of history.
