Jahan-Atyn Uvaysi (1781-1845) - poetess, classic of Kokand (Uzbek) literature in the Chagatai language. Along with Nadira and Makhzuna, she is a representative of Kokand women's poetry. Uwaisi is known as the author of lyric poems in the classical genres of oriental poetry. Her gazelles are characterized by a high poetic technique. Important motifs of the poetess's poems were calls for good, praise of beautiful noble feelings - love and friendship. At the same time, many lyric poems created by the poetess permeate the sad intonations associated with autobiographical motives.
