Fortune-telling in Russia was traditionally carried out on New Year's holidays - before Christmas and before Epiphany, that is, at a time when people rested from the labors of the righteous. It was an activity that occupied the idle time of young people so that they were not too fond of leprosy. For this reason, our attitude to mantle rituals is more cognitive and ironic than serious.
