Paul Lang studies the mysterious manuscript of a Franciscan monk who lived in the 13th century. Much of his writing remains a mystery. Things get off the ground when Lang realizes that Bacon's work is only a summary of the legendary Necronomicon. Having made inquiries, he flies to Europe in search of the original.
