The book by P. E. Tsekhmistrenko "Grapes in the Stalingrad Region" describes in detail and popularly the entire cycle of work on the vineyard, from the selection and preparation of the site to harvesting. It also gives a description of the grape varieties both included in the recommended assortment and new varieties bred in Stalingrad under the guidance of the author of this book, Pyotr Efimovich Tsekhmistrenko. Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, laureate of the Stalin Prize P.E.
