The scientific publication is devoted to the history of the Bashkir clans Giray and Eney, whose representatives live in the northwestern part of historical Bashkortostan. The object of the study of this volume is the Bashkir-Gireites and Eneans inhabiting the territories of Buzdyaksky, Davlekanovsky, Dyurtyulinsky, Ilishevsky, Krasnokamsky, Kaltasinsky, Tatyshlinsky and Yanaulsky districts of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as Aktanyshsky, Agryzsky and other districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The book reflects issues of identity, dialectology and the origin of these generic divisions.
