The history of the Crimean Khanate is first revealed on the basis of a wide source base from the beginning of the XIII to the end of the XVIII century. Its origins are analyzed (the state of Genghis Khan, the Golden Horde), the statement as an independent state, being under the protectorate of the Ottoman Port, takeoff and ruin in the XVIII century. General descriptions of the Crimean Khanate, its territory, population, state structure, social structure, are considered structures. Particular attention is paid to the complex Ukrainian-Crimean relations. The book summarizes the source material from international agreements and treaties, which outlines the political status of the Crimean Khanate at different stages of its existence.
