General issues of metrological support and units of physical quantities are considered. The main tasks of technical means of metrological support in the field of electric radio measurements are described. Methods for reproducing units of physical quantities based on modern scientific and technical achievements using quantum effects and fundamental physical constants are given. Structural diagrams and technical implementation of modern primary, secondary and working standards with description of their metrological characteristics are considered.
