The book "Martyrs of Vyshnevolotsky Uyezd" is the first among books dedicated to the new martyrs and confessors of the Russian Church in Vyshnevolotsky Uyezd (now these are the territories of Vyshnevolotsky, Udomelsky, Maksatikhinsky, Spirovsky, Firovsky, Forest districts of the Tver region). The book contains materials about canonized and not glorified martyrs for the faith who laid down their lives for Christ. The book contains both well-known materials and new archival data.
