The book "The Gospel and Old Russian Literature" for the first time offers schoolchildren the study of the Gospel in the context of the culture of Ancient Russia and modern times. It shows the connection of the Gospel with the most important genres of Old Russian literature, as well as its traditions in the works of Pushkin, Gogol, Dostoevsky. In simple and accessible language, we are talking about the most important moral, aesthetic, philosophical categories - good and evil, death and resurrection, time and space. The workbook is a new tutorial type. Included are texts of the Gospel of Mark in Old Slavonic and Russian, fragments of literary works, theological, philosophical works. The system of questions and tasks poses important moral and literary problems for schoolchildren.
