The first part of the book, "Informatics," gives the history of the development of computer technology and the formation of informatics, issues of representation, measurement and storage of information, number systems, logical foundations, architecture and computer devices, the basic concepts of operating systems and their file structure, system and application software. Particular attention is paid to the basics of knowledge on algorithmization, programming technology, programming languages, as well as the object-oriented programming system MS Visual Basic.
