This book is devoted to the study of imitative coinage produced on the Taman Peninsula in the X-XI centuries. The book contains all the currently known Taman imitations of the Byzantine coinage of Basil II and Constantine VIII. The monograph attempts to study this richest material. The number of coins described is 1,500 copies. - an order of magnitude more than ever published. The publication considers versions of all researchers of medieval Taman coinage and provides all the coins published by them.
