The dictionary contains about 10 thousand words, terms and expressions. Of these, about 6,000 terms are neologisms and new species names for plants, animals and microorganisms. The above is an important criterion testifying to the serious contribution of the author to the replenishment of the lexico-semantic system of the modern Ossetian language.
