A NEW book by a leading military historian collects interviews of German tankers, from the rank and file to the famous panzer ace Otto Karius. They had a chance to fight on all types of tanks - from light Pz.II and Pz-38 (t) and medium Pz.III and Pz. IV to heavy Panthers, Tigers and Royal Tigers, as well as self-propelled guns, shtug and YagdTigers. They went through the decisive battles of the Eastern Front - from the border to Moscow and from the Kursk Bulge to Berlin.
