Based on Marxist analysis, this work critically examines the latest problems and trends in the development of Western and, above all, American political science. Particular emphasis is placed on exposing the official, apologetic and ideological function of bourgeois theoretical political science, its anti-communist orientation. Bourgeois and left-wing radical concepts and approaches are opposed to the Marxist-Leninist interpretation of theoretical and methodological problems of state and politics within the framework of Marxist state science and Marxist political theory.
