A book prepared by the famous philologist E.G. Etkind in the mid-70s of the XX century and not published for ideological reasons - the publication, which has already passed two typographic proofs, was suspended due to the departure of the compiler abroad, introduces readers to French poetry (from Villon and Du Bellay to poets of the last third of the last century) both in the original and in translations into Russian of famous Russian translators of the 10-70s of the XX century.
