The book presents the life path and work of the Anglo-Saxon theologian, scientist and historian Beda the Honorable. The basis of the book is a study of Beda's worldview based on an analysis of his writings - comments on the books of St. Scriptures, works on history, rhetoric, treatises that told about the structure of the world and the "nature of things."
