Methods of analysis of the stress-strain state of structures under the influence of static and dynamic loads, methods of calculation of structures according to the criteria of strength, stiffness, stability, fatigue resistance and crack resistance are presented. The issues of manufacturability are considered, the applications of general calculation methods for the design of supporting structures of various machines are given.
