The book provides systematic information on nuclear and radiation hazardous objects sunk and flooded in the seas of the northwestern Arctic. Information on the current radioecological situation in the places of their flooding is given, a forecast of its change is given, the state of protective barriers preventing the entry of radionuclides into the marine environment and their expected release into sea water in the event of a long stay of objects at the bottom are assessed.
