Peter (Harmer) Lovesey, sometimes Peter Lovesey; genus. 1936, Whitton) - English writer, author of historical detectives, detective novels and stories about modernity. He is best known for two characters: Sergeant Cribb, a London sleuth from the Victorian era, and Peter Diamond, a modern-day Bath police investigator.
