Antonio Canova is one of the key figures not only in the culture of Italy, but also in European art at the turn of the 18th - 19th centuries. The collection of scientific articles is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the election of the outstanding Italian sculptor Antonio Canova as the Honorary Free Community of the St. Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts (1804) and the 250th anniversary of his birth (1757).
