The collection consists of documents reflecting the tragic fate of the talented researcher of Russian history, Professor V.N. Kashin. Accused of insufficiently exalting the role of Stalin and other "crimes" of the same kind, the reason for which was attributed to his Menshevik past, he was shot in 1938 by the verdict of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court. The book is intended for both specialist historians and other readers.
