These issues are renewed by the State Film Fund of Russia series of annotated catalogs "Soviet feature films." The most valuable catalog information remains detailed filmography, compiled on the basis of film titles and editing sheets. For the first time, the catalog includes films previously removed from the reference literature for censorship reasons. The titles of the films in each year are arranged alphabetically and numbered. Due to the fact that the previous five volumes (1918-1965) were published many years ago and not every researcher can have them at hand, in this edition the team of authors proposes a new numbering of films, which began in 1966.
