"Sons" is the second part of Nobel laureate Pearl Buck's trilogy "House of the Earth." The book gives the story of Van Loong's three sons. And although in "Sons" the further fate of the sons of Van Long is drawn, this novel is essentially the same as "Earth," it is a completely complete and independent novel. Both novels are written out of time and space.
