The tutorial consists of 9 parts and an appendix. The text material is selected from technical English and American literature on radio engineering, electrical engineering, physics, electronics, computer engineering, automation, electrical engineering and introduces students to the achievements of domestic and world science and technology and the scientific activities of outstanding scientists. The appendix includes a commentary on texts, a list of the most common phrases and phraseological phrases in scientific and technical literature, a list of abbreviations and symbols, and an English-Russian dictionary of general technical and special terms. The third edition compares favorably with the second with new texts on radio electronics, cybernetics and computer technology. Included are exercises to consolidate special terminology, exercises to compile annotations and abstracts and to translate them from Russian into English.
