"Cherdynsky treasures" - this is how scientists call the unique archaeological finds found on Cherdynskaya land. Silver of the Ancient East, coins, Scythian dishes, objects of the Perm animal style - these are just a small list of rarities that are stored today in the State Hermitage Museum, the Historical Museum, collections of museums in the Kama region. All of them are associated with the name of Cherdyn - the capital of the medieval principality. In the book of the famous Ural historian G.N. Chagin for the first time presented most of the "Cherdyn treasures" and the story of how they were found.
