The monograph explores the ratio of freedom and responsibility of a scientist in his scientific work. Answers are given to the questions: what exactly is the freedom of scientific creativity, what are the forms of its manifestation, and whether the boundaries of this freedom should exist; for what, to whom (or what) and how the scientist is responsible, as well as what are the limits of this responsibility (in particular, whether he is responsible for applying the results of his scientific work outside of science, for example, for military purposes).
