The book attempts to consider violence as a universal phenomenon inherent in life as such, and an immanent component of human history. An extensive interdisciplinary material was used and summarized, on this basis, a number of author's concepts were proposed to the attention of readers, describing the features of violence in different spheres of living and society, revealing the relationship between the development of consciousness and violence, the specifics of terrorism, the ratio of tolerance, non-violence and violence.
