Catherine Coulter (Jean Catherine Coulter) is an American writer, author of romantic thrillers and historical books, born 26.12.1942. She grew up on a ranch in Texas in a family of creative people. Her grandmother, who died at 37, was also a writer. Katherine's father is a singer and artist, and her mother is a retired pianist.
