The book contains information on all stages of creating gas, steam and liquid regulators that regulate the throttling of the flows of working media and work without an outside source of energy (including direct-acting regulators), and also examines in detail the issues of their design, testing, selection, installation and production features. Examples of modern designs of regulators and schemes of their application are given. Ways of development of this type of equipment are outlined.
