This monograph deals with theoretical and applied aspects of wavelet analysis. The book discusses in detail the practical application of wavelet theory and provides an overview of the fundamental work carried out in the field of neurodynamics and neurophysiology over the past decade. The introductory theoretical part of the monograph uses a special didactic approach to the presentation of the mathematical apparatus of the wavelet transformation and its two varieties (discrete and continuous), based on the conceptual system of traditional fourier analysis.
