Book of J. Vokuler "Astronomical photography. From daguerreotype to electronic camera" is an attempt to systematically describe and analyze the development of methods for photographing celestial bodies during ground observations. J. Vokuler's book "Astronomical Photography" is devoted to a very topical issue, since photographic methods are widely used in modern astronomy. Interest in these methods not only does not go out, on the contrary, it increases even more. It is no coincidence that even in recent years, photography has figured prominently among other ways of observing.
