South Asia is at the center of world politics due to the ongoing conflict of interest for more than half a century between India, the second largest country in the world, and Pakistan. The origins of the conflict in Indian-Pakistani relations related to the dispute over the ownership of Kashmir are examined in detail, as well as the problem of nuclear weapons, the policy of India and Pakistan in the Afghan issue and their relations with Russia.
