The main objective of this tutorial is to systematically describe and explain new rather complex concepts and ideas of reception and processing theory in the absence of a complete statistical description of signals and interference, that is, in conditions of a priori uncertainty. Algorithms for detecting and distinguishing signals under the action of noise with Gaussian and some non-Gaussian distributions are described.
